How Do I Sign Up for ARHealthNetworks?

ARHealthNetworks is offered to qualifying small businesses through licensed insurance agents in Arkansas. Contact your current insurance agent to find out if he/she is appointed with NovaSys Health to sell ARHealthNetworks. If you don't have an insurance agent, please use the Broker Search to choose an agent in your area from our list of appointed agents. ARHealthNetworks is offered to employees only as a group plan through their employer and not as an individual policy.

How Are Employers Eligible for ARHealthNetworks?

  • ARHealthNetworks is available only to employers who have not offered a group health plan to their employees within the past 12 months or longer.
  • Employer group size must be a minimum of 2 and maximum of 500 full-time (at least 30 hours per week) employees.
  • All full time employees that are considered low income must participate unless they have group coverage under their spouse or individual coverage.
  • At least one employee must qualify for subsidized premiums by having an annual household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. For example, a family of four with an annual income of $42,400.08. Check qualifying income levels here.

How Are Employees Eligible for ARHealthNetworks?

  • All employees who work more than 30 hours per week on average are considered full-time and will be offered coverage.
  • Subsidized premiums will be provided for employees who meet the following qualifications:
    • Must live in Arkansas
    • Employees must be between the ages of 19-64
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Annual gross household income is 200% or less of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Check qualifying income levels here.
  • Spouses are also eligible for coverage.
  • Employees that do not reside in Arkansas or those that are not U.S. Citizens may waive coverage. If they chose to participate, they will have the higher rate of $200 per month.
  • New hires are eligible on the first of the month following a 90 day waiting period.
  • 100% of the employees that are considered low income must participate unless they provide evidence of other group or individual health coverage. 50% of the employees that are not considered low income must participate unless they provide evidence of other group or individual health coverage.
